The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research - Intensive Care Unit (PCOR-ICU) Collaborative aims to help hospitals implement patient and family engagement programs in their ICUs. This new collaborative will bring together ICU teams that will implement initiatives to improve patient- and family-centered care and enhance the experiences of critically ill patients and their families.

During the one-day PCOR-ICU Collaborative Launch Meeting, attendees will be provided with an overview of the collaborative, strategies for implementation, and the next steps. Topics will focus on building partnerships with patients and families, promoting family engagement, networking, the PCOR-ICU eCommunity, using the Family Satisfaction in the ICU Survey, and more. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements and expenses.

This program is funded through a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (2626-SCCM).
