The Society of Critical Care Medicine is partnering with Vanderbilt University Medical Center to offer a two-day course in which participants will gain the knowledge and skills to improve ICU patient care through application of the pain, agitation/sedation, delirium, immobility, and sleep disruption (PADIS) guidelines. Focused, expert-led didactic lectures paired with small-group simulation labs will create a comprehensive learning experience led by international ICU Liberation experts. The course will cover the PADIS guideline recommendations and ICU Liberation Bundle (A-F) implementation in a multiprofessional clinical setting. Each day consists of significant hands-on experience of applying strategies during patient scenario simulations.
