As in other areas of medicine, critical care is plagued by a long delay between the generation of evidence and the incorporation of evidence into clinical practice. The emerging field of implementation science, the scientific study of methods to promote the systematic uptake of research findings into routine practice, has developed to facilitate the spread of evidence-based practice. During this webcast, expert faculty will introduce implementation science methods and illustrate how these methods can enhance the development of evidence-based critical care practice.
