This advanced ultrasound course will expand fundamental echocardiographyic skills and knowledge and learners will be able to: focus on the specialty-specific use of echocardiography in the mangement of the criticall ill patient; gain hands-on experience with faculty-assisted skills stations, including transesophageal echocardiography; and learn important cardiovascular information for the noninvasive management of the hemodynamically unstable patient.
