Adult Multidisciplinary Critical Care Knowledge Assessment

Available in both adult and pediatric formats, the Multidisciplinary Critical Care Knowledge Assessment Program (MCCKAP) online examination can be used by program directors to assess their critical care fellowship programs or it can be used by individuals to independently assess their critical care knowledge gained during fellowship training. The MCCKAP examination is offered online and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions pertaining to critical care knowledge and patient management. Examination content is developed by critical care professionals experienced in examination preparation and analysis.

Experience the educational content from the Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) 2020 Congress session, Advancing the Diagnosis of Pneumonia and Sepsis: Updates for the Critical Care Specialist, from the comfort of your home or office. This product includes videos containing slide presentations and synchronized speaker audio of the session, as well as a posttest. During this complimentary continuing education activity, expert faculty will:
  • Review available technologies for the rapid diagnosis of sepsis and pneumonia
  • Apply rapid diagnostic test findings to inform a patient management strategy
  • Develop methods to increase collaboration with the multiprofessional care team to improve timely diagnoses
